Welcome to the IWA 2020 Biofilms Virtual Conference website! The conference will bring together academics, industry members, consultants, and end users to discuss the latest trends and needs for biofilms in the water field.
Confirmed Keynote Speakers: Bruce Rittmann (ASU, USA), Mark van Loosdrecht (TU Delft, The Netherlands), Per Nielsen (VCS, Denmark), Eveline Volcke (Ghent University, Belgium), Belinda Sturm (KU, USA)
Major themes are:
- Brainstorming on grand challenges and critical needs related to biofilms
- Engaging with colleagues within sessions, panel discussions, breaks, poster sessions
- Promoting interactions and collaborations among all participants, especially among junior/senior members, and high/low income countries, and industry/end users/consultants/academia
- Promoting engagement in the Biofilms Specialist Group
